Once the operator is seated, depress the flameout pedal with the left foot and subsequently apply gentle pressure to the throttle control with the right foot. To initiate the engine, engage the starter, grasp the control lever with both hands, and run the engine at a low idle for a short period before increasing the throttle for regular operation. Moving the control lever forward propels the machine forward, while pulling it backward causes it to reverse. Simultaneously pulling with the right hand and pushing with the left results in a clockwise turn, whereas pulling with the left and pushing with the right induces a counterclockwise turn. Maneuvering the control lever to the right or left with both hands directs the machine in those respective directions. Releasing the right foot from the pedal brings the engine to idle and halts blade rotation. Depressing the left foot pedal will power off the machine. Turning off the engine switch concludes the operation.

Should the suction cup effect occur during use with a disc, avoid applying continuous pressure to the accelerator to prevent clutch burning. Instead, while pressing the accelerator, move the handle back and forth to minimize the chassis' friction resistance or retract the rear frame to free the machine from the suction cup position.

Regular checks on the belt tension are recommended.

Prior to startup, verify that the engine throttle cable has returned to its lowest idle setting and confirm that the engine reaches its maximum speed when the accelerator is fully depressed.
